  1. A Meridian man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the death of his son. KTVB-TV's Katie Terhune reports Erik Osuna admitted to the charge on Wednesday in connection with his failure to intervene as his wife beat, starved and berated his 9-year-old son for months leading up to the little boy's death.   2. The City of Boise has extended an invitation to females interested in a fire service career to attend the Ignite Bootcamp this upcoming summer. Registration is open and free for teens and adults. (Boise Patch)
  3. Micron Technology is the estimated $20 million winner in a lawsuit over employee bonuses. BoiseDev's Margaret Carmel writes the Idaho Supreme Court ruled in favor of the local technology giant in a class-action suit brought by former employees. (boisedev.com)
  4. If your commute takes you through the intersection of Farmway Road and Homedale Road, you officially drive into the most dangerous intersection in the Boise area over the last 10 years, according to LITE-FM's Michelle Heart.   5. Idaho Gov. Brad Little signed a $252 million transportation package, including $200 million to repair Idaho's bridges. CBS2 carries the Associated Press story reporting the money will fix a third of bridges needing help in the state. (idahonews)
