Welcome to the Tuesday edition of the Boise Daily. Two Boise municipal pools recently were placed on a list of historic places and the city is looking to help those unsure of where their next meal comes from. New jobs are out there in Boise and look back at the history of JUMP. Finally, a former law enforcement officer from Caldwell is in a Boise court facing serious charges.

- You may very well have splashed in a National Register of Historic Place. CBS2 news staff write both Lowell and South pools have received listings on the NRHP. Both neighborhood pools were constructed in 1953 and are examples of work by Wesley Bintz, a designer of innovative above-ground swimming pools built across the United States. Bintz designed approximately 100 municipal pools across the nation with South and Lowell two of the few remaining. (Idaho News)
- Your neighbors, many working one or two jobs, may not know where their next meal is coming from and are experiencing food insecurity. Boise State Public Radio's George Prentice interviews Kate Nelson, City of Boise director of Community Partnerships, regarding what the City of Boise is doing to help address keeping food on the tables of Boise. - The Boise Daily frequently informs followers of events taking place at JUMP. BoiseDev carries an excerpt from the forthcoming book "Boise: City of Trees," due out this fall from David R. Day and the BoiseDev team, telling the history of Jack's Urban Meeting Place (JUMP). First opened in 2015, "the purpose of the building is to be a shared environment and an opportunity for people to grow and learn through different activities and events." (boisedev.com)
- Monday marked the start of a trial in Boise of Joseph Hoadley, a former high-ranking Caldwell Police officer. KTVB-TVstaff report Hoadley is in federal court facing four felony counts of deprivation of rights under color of law; destruction, alteration or falsification of records in federal investigations; tampering with a witness by harassment; and tampering with documents. If found guilty, Hoadley could face up to 70 years in federal prison and $1 million in fines. (KTVB)

- The Household Hazardous Waste Collection site for Tuesday is Wright United Church of Christ located at 4821 W. Franklin St. (Noon)
- Middleton High School will visit Capital High School for high school varsity volleyball action Tuesday evening. (6 p.m.)
- The Boise City Council convenes Tuesday evening. On the agenda is a report by the Open Space and Clean Water Advisory Committee. (6 p.m.)
- Tuesday will be your chance to hear from real CSIs. Boise State University holds a community event to hear from experts about solving crimes through forensic firearms examination and forensic pathology. This is part of National Forensic Science Week in Idaho. (7 p.m.)
