- It has been 25 years since Boise Police officer Mark Stall responded to a traffic stop in downtown Boise. KTVB-TV's Andrew Baertlein writes two brothers from Pennsylvania shot and killed Stall during the stop, making Stall the only Boise Police officer to die in the line of duty. Boise Patch and the City of Boise provide information on a new scam involving your SIM card. Once the scammer is successful, your mobile apps, mobile banking, email, cryptocurrency wallet, social media, or whatever is on your cell phone will be in the hands of someone other than you.
