- Idaho's largest period of giving to charities has ended with over $3.6 million donated to over 600 nonprofits. KTVB-TV staff reports 13,241 individuals made donations during the May 2-5 giving period. (KTVB.com)
- While the Boise Hawks prepare for the season, an additional member of the team is also in training. CBS2 news staff report Blitz the Bat Dog is busy training to retrieve bats at all home games. (Idaho News)

- A new novel is scheduled to debut June 3 dealing with the history of America’s final war between the Nez Perce Indians and the U.S. Army in 1877. East Idaho News reporter Rett Nelson writes "Bone Necklace" is a work of historical fiction, using facts of the time with main characters made up for literary purposes. The book is authored by Julia Sullivan, an attorney who spent 21 years researching the war over 140 years ago. (eastidahonews)

LITE-FM's Parker Kane reports the Ford F-150 is the bestselling vehicle in Idaho according to numerous outlets Kane investigated.
