Here are the top stories in Boise today:
- CBS2 staff report the Idaho Department of Correction is investigating an apparent suicide at the state facility south of Boise. (Idaho News)
- We will grant looking a maps and discussing redistricting is not the most exciting idea of the week, but with the tremendous growth in the Treasure Valley, who will represent what area is important. The Idaho Capital Sun and Clark Corbin look at the Meridian, Eagle and Star area and the changes voters may see in these areas. (IdahoCapitalSun)
- As expected, the COVID-19 crisis was thoroughly discussed in Boise Mayor Lauren McLean's State of the City address. In addition to the health issue, McLean also spoke of a new Tuttle Lateral Pathway and electric garbage trucks. KIVI-TV's Ricardo Coronado reports on the city's address. (KIVI)
- Two charter schools in eastern Idaho are closing after a state investigation states they reported data to the state that does not "conform to the law." The story by IdahoEdNews Devin Bodkin states the schools over reported student numbers, reported people as staff who were not employed and failed to have state approval for a number of courses.
