  1. A Boise man donned the blue and orange for a good cause. KTVB-TV interviews Wish Granters Board President Jim Paulson showing his blue and orange beard after the non-profit raised $500 during World Beard Day. (KTVB.com)
  2. Here is out weekly update for one of the largest trials scheduled for Boise in January. East Idaho News reporter Nate Easton write Chad Daybell has now asked the court his trial be separated from his wife's, Lori Vallow Daybell. He and Lori Vallow Daybell have pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan – two of Lori’s kids – along with Chad’s previous wife, Tammy Daybell. Chad Daybell's attorney has also asked Chad's trial be delayed until next fall. The argument to separate the trials come as Chad's attorney stated his client's defense would involve “prior bad acts of both Ms. Vallow and Alex Cox (Lori Daybell’s deceased brother), as well as evidence regarding their relationship and the death of Mr. Cox.” (eastidahonews)

  5. The group deciding how much money the state spends is heading out on the road. The Idaho Capital Sun's Clark Corbin reports the Idaho Legislature’s Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will begin three days of training and meetings Monday in Twin Falls. At least 11 of JFAC’s 20 members will be new in the 2023 legislative session due to retirements and primary election losses in May. (idahocapitalsun)
