Rise and shine, Boise! Here's everything you need to know to get this Sunday started off right.

Welcome to the Sunday edition of the Boise Daily. Many of us started a morning off with KTVB-TV meteorologist Larry Gebert. After suffering a heart attack on Wednesday, Gebert passed Friday evening. Pothole Days are coming to the county and drivers are urged to report those bone rattlers. The Idaho Legislature is heading home after 81 days in Boise and Boise Police need your help in finding an armed robbery suspect. Local cities are starting to look towards the summer and plan for little water available.

  1. Sad news to start the Boise Daily today. KTVB-TV meteorologist Larry Gebert died after suffering complications from a heart attack. Gebert appeared to Boise viewers for 30 years on channel 7 and was also known for his philanthropic work in the area. (KTVB.com)
  2. The Ada County Highway District needs you help. Monday starts the county's annual Pothole Days and drivers are urged to report the nasty bumps in the roads. The county repair approximately 2,100 potholes each year around the county. (idahonews)
  3. After spending 81 days in Boise, the Idaho Legislature has called it quits and gone home. The Idaho Capital Sun's Clark Corbin reports on the waning days of the session and highlights a few of the bills passed this session. (idahocapitalsun)
  4. Boise Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect. The suspect used a firearm at a business located on the 4100 block of State Street. (Boise Patch)
  5. Cities are gearing up and preparing for a summer looking to be short on water. KIVI-TV's Geneva Zoltek writes the City of Nampa launched its first ever Drought Task Force this week to plan for the city's water distribution. (KIVI)

  • Nextdoor Neighbor, Heather Meadows: "Hi Neighbors! - ISO of a teen or college age student who would be interested in a volunteer position. I am coaching a girls U10 soccer team in Eagle. They were in need of a coach and no one has stepped up, so I offered to." (Nextdoor)
  • Nextdoor Neighbor, Hobble Creek: "Hi neighbors, I was wondering who would you recommend to make over my master bathroom shower, I have never updated it, I live in Hobble Creek I am sure someone has redone theirs, I would love to hear from those who had their bathroom done." (Nextdoor)
