Legislature Leaving Boise In Historic Recess
Due to multiple positive coronavirus tests, the Idaho Legislature has called for a historic 18-day recess.

BOISE, ID. — Both the Idaho House and Senate voted this morning to recess until noon on April 6 due to multiple coronavirus cases recently reported in the Idaho House.
The vote to recess was accomplished by voice vote in the House at 10:45 a.m. with the Senate fallowing suit at 11 a.m.

Six House members have tested positive for coronavirus: House Education Committee Chairwoman Lance Clow, R-Twin Falls; House Education Vice Chairman Ryan Kerby, R-New Plymouth; Julie Yamamoto, R-Caldwell; Bruce Skaug, R-Nampa; Greg Chaney, R-Caldwell: and James Ruchti, D-Pocatello.
