  1. A Boise man faces sentencing after a jury found him guilty in the murder of his 4-month-old son. KTVB staff report Thomas Rowley was charged after investigators found he had severely shaken the infant causing the child to suffer a fatal brain injury. Rowley did not take the baby to the hospital or otherwise seek medical attention for at least four hours. The jury deliberated for about six hours before returning a guilty verdict. (KTVB.com)
  2. The room was packed and the meeting went late as the Ada County Commission heard hours of testimony Monday night over a petition to dissolve the Meridian Library District. BoiseDev editor Don Day writes the hearing took place after a group, Concerned Citizens of Meridian asked the county to dissolve the library district. The group states the district is placing pornographic books in the children’s section of the library. Day reports 51 testified against dissolution, while 11 testified for it. (boisedev.com)
  3. Everyone wants to make their father proud. KIVI-TV's Christinna Bautista reports two Boise twins have made the decision to follow their father by enlisting in the Idaho Army National Guard. Grayson and Riley Hicks,19-year-old twins, were headed to basic and advanced training for the Idaho Army National Guard on Tuesday morning. Their father has served in the Guard for 35 years and presently serves as director for the Idaho National Guard's Human Resource Office. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)

  5. Prepare to grab a pint on April 7. CBS2 news staff report Sockeye Brewing has announced a public grand opening of their second location on April 7, the Sockeye Alehouse. The newest location features an all-new food menu, full bar including liquor, large indoor and outdoor seating capacity and a 9-hole putting course named, ‘The Turn’. (Idaho News)
