  1. A great Christmas gift for a few local families would be the return on their missing children. Take a minute and take a look at LITE-FM's Chris's rundown of missing children in Idaho. Some, like Michael Vaughn and Deorr Kunz, were national news while others barely achieved a blurb in the local media. The article includes photographs of the missing. (liteonline)
  2. A Boise nonprofit, the City of Good, has provided over 80,000 meals since opening in 2020. Boise State Public Radio's Gemma Gaudette speaks with Britt Udesen, executive director of City of Good over the continuing need seen in our city and plans for a sustainable food system. (Boise State Public Radio)
  3. The Nampa man shot and killed over the weekend has been identified. KTVB-TV staff report the coroner has identified the victim as 20-year-old Isaac Bernal. Law enforcement continue to say the incident was gang related and do not think there is a danger to the community. (ktvb)
  4. The dirt will start flying in 2024 as two pathways are scheduled for construction. BoiseDev's Margaret Carmel writes the city has approved a path for bicycles and walkers on the Boise Bench near Cassia Park. A second path will connect Broadway with the Fred Meyer shopping center on Federal Way. Design for both projects will start in 2023 and construction to follow in fiscal year 2024. (boisedev.com)
  5. As with any study, there is good and bad after a State Department of Education survey was released showing student engagement around the state. IdahoEdNews reporter Devin Bodkin breaks down the numbers showing the local Pioneer School of the Arts is among the top schools in the state for students feeling engaged. On the other side, less than 25 percent of students at Rocky Mountain High say they are engaged in the school day. (idahoednews)
