  1. The employment news coming from Boise-based Micron continues to worsen. BoiseStatePublicRadio's Troy Oppie reports job cuts, originally reported at 10 percent of the company's 49,000 employees, has now been increased to 15 percent of the work force. Micron is not discussing plans to expand in Boise and Syracuse, New York. The layoffs are due to a downturn in demand for DRAM and other chips manufactured by the company. (Boise State Public Radio)
  2. The Boise School District is interested in hearing your views on what kids wear to school. KTVB-TV's Shirah Matsuzawa writes the district is holding a number of open houses in preparation of updating the dress code policy.   3. If you live in the Vista Avenue area, you will soon have approximately 1,000 new neighbors. BoiseDev senior reporter Margaret Carmel reports the Boise City Council approved nearly 900 units on the east end of the Simunich property along Victory Road, south of the Vista neighborhood near the New York Canal. This is in addition to a smaller piece of property already approved for housing in the same area. (boisedev.com)
  4. A bill giving control of Boise streets around the state capital to the Idaho Department of Administration has been held up in the Idaho Senate State Affairs Committee. The IdahoCapitalSun's Ruth Brown reports representatives from the city of Boise and the Ada County Highway District testified in opposition to the proposed law. (idahocapitalsun)
  5. Boise Police are asking for help in finding not one, but two missing Boise teens. LITE-FM's Kyle Mathews writes the two disappeared under separate circumstances and the cases are not related. Pictures of both teens are included in the story. Each day, 2,300 children are reported missing in the United States. (liteonline)
