  1. Oops. We have all had the mistake while backing out of the driveway, that one tire falls off onto the grass. CBS2 news staff report an American Airlines flight went off the runway at the Boise Airport and into the gravel Tuesday morning. Those on the plane were deplaned and bussed to the terminal. The Boeing 737 had 168 passengers on board along with six crew members. (idahonews)
  2. Hundreds celebrated Martin Luther King Day with a march from the Boise State University campus to the state capital. KTVB-TV news staff were along with the march as the BSU MLK Living Legacy Committee organized the march return after years of a virtual march due to the pandemic. The march concluded with several speakers sharing words from Martin Luther King Jr.'s teachings and anecdotes of their own lived experiences. (KTVB.com)
  3. It may not offer 31 flavors but Stella's likes Boise. BoiseDev managing editor Gretchen Parsons announces Stella's Ice Cream has announced plans to open in the old Baskins Robbins location on State Street. This will be the second location in Boise for the homemade ice cream, the fifth location in the valley. (boisedev.com)
  4. Due to my advanced age, I started legally driving in Boise at the age of 14. LITE-FM's Chris has created a listing of "8 Ways Boise Drivers Express Themselves On The Road." As you meander through the list, keep a mental note of your own unhappiness with the person who pulled out in front of you. As for myself, all eight apply. (liteonline)
  5. In addition to the hundreds of children receiving bicycles this past Christmas, the Boise Bicycle Project took Martin Luther King Day to deliver 50 additional bicycles to the Ukrainian Welcome Center as reported by KIVI-TV's Christinna Bautista. (kivi)
