- For the first time in 20 years, the sweepstakes award has returned to a West Ada school. CBS2's Sarah Jacobsen introduces the Eagle High School Thundering Mustang Band, recent winners of the Idaho's 3rd District band competition after winning first place in their division, including best musical performance, best visual performance, best general effect, best percussion, and best colorguard. - The abortion debate took stage as the candidates for Idaho's lieutenant governor sparred. The Idaho Capital Sun's Clark Corbin reports Republican Scott Bedke and Democrat Terri Pickens Manweiler ended on differing sides of the abortion issue. The two candidates are running for the part-time job vacated by current Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin who was defeated by Gov. Brad Little in the May gubernatorial primary election. (idahocapitalsun)
- If you plan on boarding a plane or walking into a federal building next year, your current Idaho driver's license will not work in just a little over six months.
