Nampa Crash Sends Juvenile To Hospital
A Saturday evening one-car crash sent a juvenile passenger to St. Alphonsus in Nampa with injuries.

NAMPA, ID — On Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 2:24 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash westbound I84 at milepost 36, the Franklin exit, in Nampa.
Miriam Akulu, 20, of Boise, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu. Akulu's vehicle struck the median barrier, drove across the westbound lanes, and came to rest after striking the barrier on the right shoulder.

Akulu's juvenile passenger was transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa.
Akulu and the juvenile passenger were wearing seatbelts. The right lane of travel was blocked for one hour. The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
