- Monday is the day the Lori Valley Daybell begins in Boise. If you are not up to speed with this case, the eastidahonews carries a story by Associated Press reporter Rebecca Boone providing the background of the case and the charges Vallow Daybell faces. The Boise trial is expected to take 12 weeks. If found guilty, Vallow Daybell will not face the death penalty after a recent court decision. Boise should be prepared for tremendous media coverage during this trial and Boise Patch will be providing daily updates. (eastidahonews)
- If you were without power on Saturday, you were not alone. KTVB-TV staff report the outage on Saturday afternoon impacted more than 4,000 Boise residents. Most all involved had power back on by 8:30 p.m. (KTVB.com)
- All this moisture has left the trails in the Boise Foothills a muddy mess. CBS2 news staff reports Boise Parks and Recreation is asking folks to avoid using the trails until things dry out.
