- A suspect in a Boise stabbing over three months ago is in custody. KTVB-TV staff report Richard Lemaster was wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred near 9th Street and the Boise River on July 28. He is charged with aggravated battery and use of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony. (KTVB)
- The Idaho Secretary of State's office is helping get the word out on election misinformation. The Idaho Capital Sun's Kelcie Mosely-Morris reports the state agency launched a new web portal Friday that will allow Idahoans to report election-based misinformation ahead of the Nov. 8 general election. - Boise Police and Boise Patch are urging Boise Daily followers to report if you are a victim of scams. Victims often are embarrassed to report the situation to family or law enforcement and frequently become repeat victims. The Boise Police have some helpful information to help victims out and assist family members of victims. (Boise Patch)
- A Boise house fire ended with the death of one. CBS2 news staff report both Boise and Meridian Fire Departments responded to a fully involved structure fire Wednesday around 10 p.m. off of Arborcrest Court in Boise, Idaho. The identity of the victim of the fire has not been released. (idahonews)
- Those living outside the Boise city limits may soon have new rules regarding your local family dog. BoiseDev reporter Margaret Carmel reports Ada County is considering a new draft ordinance regulating dangerous animals, pet care and other elements in the unincorporated areas of the county.
