  1. It appears this will be a year when you can get a morning of skiing in and play 18 holes of golf in the afternoon. CBS2 news staff passes on the information Bogus Basin will extend the ski season through May 6. The local ski resort picked up 119 inches of snow just in March. The announcement makes this ski season the longest in the 80-year history of the resort. (Idaho News)
  2. This announcement comes every year. KTVB-TV staff report State Highway 21 is closed until further notice between Grandjean and Banner Summit. The highway is also closed between northeast of Idaho City to Lowman. The closures are due to avalanche danger in the area. (KTVB.com)
  3. Idaho now has a state dinosaur. The IdahoCapitalSun's Mia Maldonado reports Governor Brad Little signed the bill naming the oryctodromeus as the state's first state dinosaur. The move comes after a group of Idaho fourth grade students gave a presentation of the prehistoric prairie dog found only in Idaho. (idahocapitalsun)
  4. There is one less place to eat out in Boise. BoiseDev's editor Don Day writes the Naked Fin on Broadway Avenue has closed their doors. The restaurant first opened in the summer of 2018, replacing a closed and revamped Subway store. (boisedev)
  5. Boise's closest neighbor city has been ranked Idaho's Most Dangerous City according to a recent study. LITE-FM's Kevin Miller provides the list of the 20 most dangerous cities in the state and Garden City leads the list. (liteonline)
