  1. Do you have over one-half million dollars sitting in your checking account? According to KTVB staff, the median price of a home in Ada County rose to $535,000 last month. (KTVB.com)
  2. If you have already done the corn maze thing, maybe this year is time to try a straw maze. LITE-FM's Michelle Heart introduces us to "Shindig Farms," a maze plus a mechanical bull. Located just down the road in Nampa, Boise residents may want to take a look. (liteonline)

  • Take a break from spooky this year and explore Neon Jungle! An alternative to haunted houses, the immersive walk-through experience under black lights is geared toward kids of all ages. Neon Jungle features a glowing jungle, a mythical forest filled with illuminated flowers and creatures and other surprises. (5 p.m.)
  • Friday night marks Borah High School versus Capital High School in football action. (7 p.m.)
  • Explore the unique history of Marianne Williams Park as well as the wonderful diversity of flora and fauna found throughout the park. The tour will start at the sheltered picnic area next to the restrooms and wind through the back section of the park as we explore the riparian habitat. The tour will cover approximately 1 mile on paved pathways. (10 a.m.)

Located about 90 minutes north of Chicago, the corn maze located at the Richardson Adventure Farm claims to be the world's largest, with over nine miles of trails winding through 28 acres of live corn.
