- A Boise man faces up to 20 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to transportation for prostitution and money laundering. KTVB-TV staff report Dannie Carr, 37, managed a business that was involved in the prostitution of two adult females across state lines, primarily between Idaho and Washington. (KTVB)
- No fireworks, moving tables, lawn darts or tethering your hot air balloon. LITE-FM's Stephanie Gull compiled a list of strange things prohibited in Boise parks. Some are entirely understandable while others make you scratch your head and wonder why. (liteonline.com)

- Idaho high school students will no longer be required to take a college entrance exam in order to graduate. Idaho Mountain Express staff writer Mike Schultz writes the State Board of Education voted unanimously to waive Idaho’s requirement that high school students must complete the ACT or SAT before picking up a diploma.
