- The kids in the house have some time off and one way to get out of the house is close to Boise. KIVI-TV's Steve Dent visited Gateway Parks at Eagle Island State Park. - Today is Christmas and it is fitting we should end today's newsletter with a story of good. It is easy to fill the Boise Daily with stories of crime, corruption, poverty and such. Those are not the way to end today's Boise Daily. Growing up near Franklin and Orchard Streets, our family was blue collar, middle class, not rich, not poor. LITE-FM's Michelle Heart brings a story of how this Christmas was made better for a Meridian widow and her sons. This is the type of story the Boise Daily should end with on Christmas. (liteonline)
