• ICYMI: Boise Hunter Homes spent $30,000 on foothills trail, Ada Co. said to demolish it (boisedev.com) — A long-running dispute between Boise Hunter Homes and Ada County has left a key foothills trail connection between Dry Creek Ranch and the Ada-Eagle Bike Park demolished and negotiations stalled. After the developer spent $30,000 on a temporary trail, the county ordered it reseeded over permitting and width concerns, and talks over a permanent Boise-area trail link have since gone quiet. 
• Boise's first flu death of the season reported, third in Idaho (ktvb.com) — Health officials have confirmed this season’s first flu-related death in Boise, a woman in her 90s, and the third statewide, as flu activity rises. Boise residents are urged to get vaccinated, stay home when sick, and practice good hygiene, especially older adults and others at higher risk.
