Welcome to October and the Boise Daily. A pedestrian has died from injuries sustained during an accident on Overland Road. - Just how large will Ada County grow? Based on a number of factors, Ada County has provided projections on growth in the county, including the fact some cities will double in size very soon. (Boise Patch)
- We have previously told of the unhappiness from Harris Ranch residents regarding fees. Now, the City of Boise will front up to one-quarter of a million dollars for legal fees as the residents have threatened legal action against the Harris Ranch Community Infrastructure District. - The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site for Thursday will be the Waste Collection Facility located at 10330 Seamans Gulch Road. (8:00 a.m.)
- Euclid Nazarene is happy to present the new Student Study Lounge! The new student lounge is located at 1319 S Euclid Ave., just south of the BSU Stadium This space has been created to be a free and safe place for students to study and rest. (9:00 a.m.)

- Registration is open for Trans Empowerment Month, a month long virtual celebration and educational conference for trans youth, trans adults, and their allies. Registration is FREE for folks age 24 and younger; a nominal registration fee for anyone 25+. (6:00 p.m.)
