- For the 10th time, Boise rang in the New Year with a potato drop. KTVB-TV's Mellisa Paul, Joey Jenkins and Jude Binkley were there live along with hardy Boise residents bundled up and watching the fireworks. (KTVB)
- If you have alfalfa sprouts sitting in the refrigerator, you may want to check the brand and the date on the container. CBS2 news staff report four lots of SunSprout Enterprise's raw alfalfa sprouts were recalled on December 29 by the company for possibly containing salmonella. The alfalfa sprouts were sold to grocery stores between late November and mid-December with best-by dates between Dec.10, 2022, and Jan. 7, 2023. (idahonews)
