  1. A suspect has been named in the beating death of an inmate at the prison south of Boise. KTVB-TV staff report Colton Jeffery Reagan, 25, was arraigned Monday afternoon on murder charges in connection with the beating death of Reagan's cellmate, 57-year-old Gerald Cummings, Jr. (KTVB)

Boise Fact of the Day:

The last murder at the prison outside of Boise was four years ago when convicted child killer Jim Junior Nice fatally attacked his cellmate Glenn Arthur Cox. Nice, who was already serving a life sentence, died by suicide in 2018.
