  1. Two Boise schools were ordered to shelter in place while Boise Police searched for an armed robbery suspect Tuesday morning. Jason Cooley, 20, a Nampa resident, was found and arrested on charges of aggravated assault after police found him sitting in his vehicle on S. Council Springs Road. (Boise Patch)
  2. If you were planning on doing some four-wheeling on a section of 8th Street in the Boise Foothills, take note. KTVB staff report the Bureau of Land Management is closing a section of upper 8th Street for the season Wednesday as part of an effort to reduce road damage in the wet and snowy months. (KTVB.com)
  3. With the multiple discussions regarding electric vehicles, one company is not changing the power output behind their mode of travel. NORAD has recently released information related to Santa's sleigh including length (75 candy canes), weight at takeoff (75,000 gumdrops) and method of propulsion (9 reindeer power).   4. A new retail store geared toward a “mountain lifestyle brand” will soon be opening in downtown Boise, according to BoiseDev editor Don Day. Wyoming-based Stio will open a new store in Boise in a new building under construction. (boisedev.com)
  5. A local business has stepped up and helped those needing a little assistance this season. KIVI-TV's Meredith Spelbring writes Stinker Stores and the Idaho Foodbank 2021 Stomp Out Hunger campaign raised $100,000, breaking the previous record for money raised. (6 On Your Side)
