Scooter Victim Identified

A Caldwell boy involved in a vehicle/scooter accident on August 27 has been positively identified.

BOISE, ID — The victim involved in a vehicle and scooter crash on Marble Front Road in Caldwell on August 27 has been identified by the Ada County Coroner.

Landon Hyland, 13-years old, died after being transported to Saint Luke's Regional Hospital following the accident. Hyland passed on August 28.

According to the initial reports, Hyland was riding his scooter on Marble Front Road before darting out into traffic and being struck by a vehicle. He was treated at the scene and transported to Saint Luke's.
