Suspects Named In Shooting Death Near BSU Campus
BREAKING: The Boise Police Department has released the names of two individuals charged in last night's shooting death.

BOISE, ID.—A shooting near the campus of Boise State University late Monday night resulted in one person dead and two arrested.
UPDATE: The Boise Police Department has released the names of the two individuals involved in Monday night's incident.
Devoune Mosley, 23, of Eagle has been charged with 1st Degree Murder and Unlawfu Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.

Matthew Crawford, 22, of Boise has been charged with 1st Degree Murder.
According to a statement from the Boise Police Department, Mosley and Crawford met the victim on the street or sidewalk on the 1400 block of Chrisway Drive with the intention of robbing him. During the attempted robbery, Crawford fired several rounds at the victim. The victim was struck multiple times. Mosley informed investigators he was in possession of a shotgun upon his arrest. Due to a prior felony conviction, Mosley is prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm. Both suspects were booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.

Boise police officers responded to a report of shots fired at 1410 Chrisway Dr. and Jade Hall around 11:30 p.m Monday. The Jade Hall address is student housing, but the Chrisway Drive address is off-campus. When officers arrived, one person was found with a gunshot. Paramedics took the victim to a hospital where the person died. The name of the victim wasn't immediately released.
A search of the area resulted in two suspects taken into custody. Police have not released the names of the suspects and no charges have been made public.
A BroncoAlert was issued by university officials to students and staff on campus, warning all to stay away from the area.
Boise Police remain on the scene this morning and Chrisway Drive is currently closed between University Drive and Boise Avenue.
