  1. Around $10,000 in stolen merchandise was recently returned to local retailers after detectives with the Boise Police Department apprehended a suspect connected to the thefts on Thursday. The suspect faces multiple felony charges for stealing multiple truckloads of merchandise that included grills, tools, toys, and other pricy items. The Boise Police Department reminds shoppers to be careful when purchasing second-hand items online, as these items may be stolen. (Idaho News)
  2. The Idaho Fourth of July Parade will return this summer in Boise after three years of postponement. This year's parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on Jul. 4 with a theme honoring the nation's founding fathers and mothers. Festivities will kick off at 7:00 a.m. that same morning with a hot air balloon launch from the Capitol. (Idaho News)
  3. Discounted home goods store Tuesday Morning is closing both of its Boise locations. The closures are part of a nationwide shutdown of more than 200 stores across 25 states. The retailer announced that gift cards and merchandise return gift cards will be accepted through next Saturday, May 13. (boisedev.com)
