Sunday Crash Results In One Death
A driver failed to negotiate an exit ramp near Mountain Home, dying at the scene.

MOUNTAIN HOME, ID — On Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 1:05 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash westbound Interstate 84 at milepost 95, in Mountain Home.
Axalli Alejo, 24, of Twin Falls, was travelling westbound on Interstate 84 when he took the 95 exit. Alejo failed to negotiate the exit ramp, went off the shoulder, overcorrected and rolled the vehicle.

Alejo was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries on the scene. The exit was closed for approximately 3 hours. Next of kin has been notified. The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
