  1. The family of a Meridian High School teen killed in a crash earlier this week has issued a statement. CBS2 news staff carry the family's words in entirety along with a link to a Gofundme set up to assist the family. (Idaho News)
  2. Idaho gubernatorial candidate Ammon Bundy is in trouble again. KIVI-TV's Jake Garcia reports Bundy has been fined $250 and ordered to take down a number of signs reading "don't vote" recently placed across the state. Those using the QR code on the sign are directed to a site saying not to vote if you're not informed, calling you a "lousy citizen" or even "the most dangerous person in a democracy." (kivitv)
  3. Idaho elections are big business. The Idaho Capital Sun's Audrey Dutton reports more than $22 million has been spent on the 2022 elections to date. Old style campaigning still rules as $1.6 million has been spent on yard signs, buttons and stickers. Campaigning is hard work evidenced by the $9,000 spent at pizza restaurants. (idahocapitalsun)
  4. The Boise Daily fully understands our readers don't wish to see all negative news all the time, but the following is just too good to not let you know. KIDO-AM's Chris scoured reviews of Idaho hotels and found some of the worst. From microwaves bursting into flames to stomping on cockroaches on the way into the room, grab a look. (kidotalkradio)
  5. If you visited the Ski Swap and picked up some new equipment, prepare as Bogus Basin saw eight inches of snow after this recent storm. KTVB-TV's Jude Binkley speaks with Brad Wilson, the general manager of Bogus Basin to discuss his excitement with the upcoming opening of the resort. (ktvb)
