Welcome to the Wednesday edition of the Boise Daily. We start with a formal cause of death for the man involved in the Boise Towne Square Mall shooting. A local high school has identified two students as involved in a deadly vehicle accident and is offering assistance to the community. The Idaho Supreme Court has failed to release a ruling on a death row inmate's future, and we have a new listing of property for sale in Boise. One local business is hoping Boise will soon be famous for... popcorn.

Here are the top stories in Boise today:
- A shooter involved in the Boise Towne Square Mall in October 2021 died in an act of suicide, according to the Ada County Coroner. KTVB-TV's Morgan Romero and Alexandra Duggan filed a public records request to obtain the cause of death for Jacob Bergquist. Bergquist killed two people and injured three others on Oct. 28 after he entered the mall and started firing his gun. Bergquist, a convicted felon, had multiple incidents with different police agencies for openly displaying a weapon in businesses. (KTVB.com)
- Bishop Kelly High School, a Boise private Catholic school, has identified two current students as victims of a fatal vehicle crash on Sunday, June 12. Braden Caldwell and Henry Warner were both to be juniors next fall, according to a Facebook post by Bishop Kelly High School. The school is opening an onsite chapel on Wednesday for those needing assistance and counselors will also be at the school. A prayer service will also be held at the school on Wednesday starting at 11:30 a.m. (Facebook)
- After hearing arguments on Monday, the Idaho Supreme Court have not announced a decision on death row inmate, Gerald Pizzuto. KBOI-AM staff report the court heard both sides on if the state's constitution provides a governor the power to override a pardon and Parole Committee's decision on clemency. Relating to Pizzuto's conviction and death sentence, the Idaho Supreme Court is under no timeline to issue a decision. (670 KBOI - Boise Local News)

- Boise is famous for many things, but one local businesswoman is hoping our fair city will soon be notable for popcorn. KIVI-TV's Frankie Katafias introduces Mary Ann Mandel, owner of Idaho Popcorn. Popped in olive oil, all ingredients but the oil are Idaho's own. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)
