  1. Problems with a Boise HOA have resulted in a Boise man facing felony charges for cutting down trees. CBS2 news staff report Adam Liegner is scheduled for a March jury trial after his former neighbor and former HOA president reported Liegner for removing trees and vegetation from property bordering Barber Park.   2. After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Camp Rainbow Gold’s Share Your Heart Ball returns Saturday, Feb. 18. Eyeonsunvalley's Karen Bossick reports the ball will celebrate 40 years of the camp offering services to children with cancer. Camp Rainbow Gold offers free weeklong camps to children and their siblings at the location near Fairfield, Idaho. (eyeonsunvalley)
  3. You will need to wait just a few more days to purchase fresh lobster rolls in Boise. According to BoiseDev managing editor Gretchen Parsons, Feb. 1 is opening day for Freshies Lobster Co. in the Warehouse Food Hall in Downtown Boise. The capital city is the first Idaho location for the establishment that promises Maine lobsters caught and delivered within 24 hours. (boisedev.com)
  4. Families and students are invited to learn more about the Treasure Valley Math and Science Center at an open house on Monday, Feb. 6 at Riverglen Junior High School. The public school magnet program focuses on "advanced studies in the areas of Math, Science, Research, and Computer Science." (Boise Patch)
  5. A Nampa legislator wants to make sure children are not removed from parents due to immunization records. The IdahoCapitalSun's Kelci Mosely-Morris writes Sen. Brian Lenney (R-Nampa) introduced a bill adding that a court cannot terminate a parent's rights to a child based upon the child's immunization status. According to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, no such case has ever occurred, and no parent has ever been investigated for immunization status. (idahocapitalsun)
