Happy Thursday, people of Boise! Here's everything you need to know going on in Boise today.

The Boise Daily opens Thursday with a Nampa man facing new charges after his story of assisting suicide appears to be falling apart. The continuing saga of Lori Vallow Daybell continues as her attorney has been ordered off the case. More snow is coming, and in more legal news, an eastern Idaho sheriff's attorney is claiming charges against his client are politically motivated. Finally, some Idaho school districts have interesting ideas how to spend extra cash.

  1. The case involving a body found in Star continues to evolve. Ada County prosecutors are now considering a homicide charge against a 19-year-old Nampa man who originally stated he assisted his roommate in a suicide. (Boise Patch)
  2. The attorney privately hired to defend Lori Vallow Daybell has been booted off the case. East Idaho News reporter Eric Grossarth explains Mark Means had a conflict of interest after previously representing Lori’s husband and co-defendant Chad Daybell.
