- The processing of a backyard in Fruitland has come to a conclusion. KTVB-TV staff report Fruitland Police Chief J.D. Huff confirmed crews finished processing the entire home off Redwing Street in Fruitland, where investigators were looking for the possible remains of 6-year-old Michael Vaughan, who went missing from his neighborhood on July 27, 2021. Huff also said a news conference will be held later next week with an update on the search. (KTVB)
- One way to work off that huge Thanksgiving meal is a hike in the Boise foothills. CBS2 news staff write Ridge to Rivers released another trail conditions report on Friday and outdoor enthusiasts are advised to take a look before heading out. (Idaho News)
- Everyone is invited to jump into the Christmas spirit on Monday as Idaho Capitol Christmas tree lighting ceremony occurs at the state capital. IdahoCapitalSun's Clark Corbin writes the festivities start at 5:30 p.m. on the front steps of the Idaho State Capitol Building with a performance from the 25th Army Band. Free candy canes, cookies and bookmarks will be available to attendees, and Santa Claus and an elf will make an appearance and be available for photos. (idahocapitalsun)
- The majority of Boise residents were able to enjoy Thanksgiving at home with family and many took four days off for the holiday. However, KIDO-AM's Kevin Miller takes a look at those who had to work the holiday from law enforcement to grocery store workers. Hospital workers worked their shift and airline personnel made sure families made it to their destination. (kidotalkradio)
- Vinyl is back. KIVI-TV's Nicole Camarda reports shoppers were out in the early morning to grab some exclusive vinyl at Boise's Record Exchange. The longtime store offered 175 exclusives that hit the shelves for Black Friday. (KIVI)
