Happy Friday, people of Boise! Let's get this day started. Here's everything happening in town today.

  1. Boise resident Steve Hume has changed a few tires and repaired a few chains. While the rest of us complain about the rising price of gas, Hume has just surpassed the 200,000 mile mark on a bicycle and is looking towards the next 100,000 miles.   3. A former Idaho legislator, convicted of rape of an intern, wants a new trial, his conviction acquitted and released from jail. The Idaho Capital Sun's Kelcie Mosely-Morris reports former Rep. Aaron von Ehlinger's attorney filed a motion seeking a new trial or acquittal in Ada County’s Fourth District court on Friday and also requested von Ehlinger be released on bond. (idahocapitalsun)
