- Monday is a good day for our update on Chad and Lori Vallow Daybell courtesy of eastidahonews reporter Kaitlyn Hart. Now that Vallow Daybell has again been competent to stand trial, the married couple were in court together on Thursday. The judge issued a new trial date of April 3, 2023 for the couple in a Boise courtroom. The Daybells have pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan – two of Lori’s kids – along with Chad’s previous wife, Tammy Daybell. The Daybells did not speak to each other during the hearing and did not even look at each other. (eastidahonews)
