- Monday is the Boise Daily update on the upcoming trial for Chad Daybell and spouse Lori Vallow Daybell. EastIdahoNews reporter Nate Easton reports on a number of motions made by the defense attorneys. District Judge Steven Boyce denied a request to postpone the murder trial for Chad and Lori Daybell, and they will not be permitted to have face-to-face meetings or phone calls to prepare for trial. Boyce also denied a request to sequester the future jury for the trial. The judge did not issue an opinion on taking the death penalty off the table as requested by Lori's attorney. The two are charged with multiple counts of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan – two of Lori’s children – along with Chad’s previous wife, Tammy Daybell.
