Welcome back, Boise! Let's get you started this Monday with everything you need to know going on around town today.

The way to start the work week off right is with the Boise Daily. We are a tad heavy with law enforcement news today and starting off with a shooting at a local Bi-Mart. Boise Police will remain on our local college campus after a new agreement was reached and that new agreement may include the police department's newest hire, Clover.   1. A trip to the Caldwell Bi-Mart turned interesting for some shoppers after a shooting occurred in the parking lot. KIVI-TV staff report one person remains hospitalized and suspects are being sought after the incident. (KIVI)
  2. The Boise Police Department will remain on the Boise State University campus after both sides agreed on a five-year contract. IdahoEdNews reporter Kevin Richert reports seven officers will be assigned to the campus along with support staff according to the new contract. (idahoednews)
  3. A bit more news from the police department. Boise Police have a new hire, ready for training. KTVB staff will be on hand as Clover, a shelter dog from the Idaho Humane Society, is handed over to local law enforcement as an outreach canine for the department's bike unit on Monday. (KTVB)
