  1. The Idaho Falls Animal Shelter is hosting "Nigel's Birthday Bash" to celebrate its beloved resident and mascot, Nigel, who is turning 10 this month, and to raise funds for the shelter. The event, taking place at Tautphaus Park on Aug. 26 from 3:00-7:00 p.m., welcomes adults, families, and leashed dogs for activities like food trucks, treats, raffles, games, grooming demonstrations, a Peanut Butter Licking Contest, and a Dog Beauty Contest. Proceeds from the event will support the Idaho Falls Animal Shelter and its initiatives. (East Idaho News)
  2. Experience the Nathan Pacheco Christmas Tour at Idaho Falls' Colonial Theater on Nov. 25, featuring the classically-trained tenor's uplifting music that appeals to the entire family. Known for his remarkable voice and performances around the world, Pacheco recently released the album "Abide With Me," filled with sacred hymns, and now he's embarking on the Christmas tour, presenting a mix of holiday favorites, original compositions, and timeless classics.
