- Idaho State University has announced that two menβs basketball games will be played at Hero Arena in Idaho Falls this season. The first game, against Warner Pacific University, will take place on Nov. 6. The second, on Jan. 6, will be against the University of Nebraska-Omaha as part of the Big Sky Conference and Summit League Challenge. Presale tickets for these events begin today on Ticketmaster.com. (Idaho State Journal)
- On Sunday, the Mountain America Center announced details for the "Look Up Tour with Will Graham" β a free, family-friendly event coming to Hero Arena on Sep. 23-24. The event will feature music from top Christian bands, special events for children, and teens, and speeches from evangelist Will Graham. The two-day event will feature a dedicated KidzFest, Family Night, and Student Night. (East Idaho News)
- Five technologies created by Idaho National Laboratory have earned "2023 R&D 100 Awards," marking another prestigious year for the laboratory. Winning technologies included an open-source simulation software package, a scalable translated binary analysis platform, and more.
