ILLINOIS — We recently summoned Illinois Patch readers to share photos of their pets clad in Halloween costumes. Once, again, you did not disappoint. We received dozens of images of dogs decked out as little old ladies, Taylor Swift, blushing brides and even a bowl of cereal! Some felines got into the mix too, rocking spider costumes, bumblebee outfits and other really scary sartorial selections.

Warning: The images you are about to behold are horrifyingly endearing. These are not for the faint of heart.
