Toddler Abducted By Father: Sheriff

Police said the man was on court-ordered electronic monitoring when he battered the child's mother and left with the toddler. He has since been apprehended.

The 28-year-old is accused of placing a camera that was positioned so that it captured people undressing in the church restroom, officials said, calling the incident in a place of worship "highly disturbing."

Men Opened Credit Cards In Dead People's Names: U.S. Attorney

A federal grand jury in Chicago has indicted three men, including one from Bolingbrook, for allegedly orchestrating a scheme to fraudulently open credit cards in the names of recently deceased individuals. Two of the men, who are brothers, are also charged with fraudulently obtaining small business loans under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.
