Canadian wildfire smoke has also prompted an air quality alert.

The tornado hit Warrenville, Wheaton and Glen Ellyn, while straight-line winds of up to 80 mph hit Elk Grove Village.
This weekend, the National Weather Service also confirmed two additional tornadoes from Wednesday night's storms, bringing the total to 13 tornadoes. Air quality alert
As the area recovers from the severe storms, smoke and haze from Canadian wildfires returned to the Chicago area on Saturday and will last through Sunday.
Due to poor air quality from smoke and particulate matter, residents should limit prolonged outdoor activity, especially if they have respiratory issues.
The air quality alert is in effect until midnight and includes Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties
