ALGONQUIN-LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The first day of school in District 300 is August 14 and Huntley Community School District starts August 15 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The District 300 and Huntley school districts have released their 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.
