Man, 45, Faces Charges For Possessing Child Pornography: Police
Alexander Grant has been charged with 13 felony counts following an investigation by the Huntley Police Department.
HUNTLEY, IL — A 45-year-old Huntley man faces charges for possessing child pornography, police said.
Alexander Grant, of the 9100 block of Ramsdell Street in Huntley, has been charged with 13 felony counts following an investigation by the Huntley Police Department, according to the police department.
Those charges include: 10 counts of distribution of child pornography, two counts of possession of child pornography - victim under 13 years old and possession of child pornography - victim under 18 years old.

The Huntley Police Department launched an investigation into Grant after receiving information regarding a Huntley-based Internet Protocol address, which was hosting potential child porn for download via a peer-to-peer sharing network, according to a news release.
On Thursday, authorities searched Grant's home on Ramsdell Street and completed an examination and analysis of several seized electronic devices.

Grant was taken to the McHenry County Jail pending a detention hearing.
