'Moves Mountains' For Her Patients: Homewood Local Hero

HOMEWOOD, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

• Reason for recognition: She gets up every morning overseeing a team serving the patients of Cook County and never blinks. She lives up to her oath of service that she took as a nurse some 35 years ago.
