New Festival Planned For 2026 In Algonquin
Founders Days is out and Algonquin Fest is in. Community leaders announced the new festival will kick off at the end of July.
ALGONQUIN, IL — A new festival is scheduled to come to Algonquin in 2026.
Algonquin Fest is slated to take place around the same time and place as Algonquin Founders Day, which took a break in 2025 as organizers worked to rework the festival for this year, Shaw Local News Network is reporting. The festival will run from July 30 to August 2 at Ted Spella Community Park.
