LITH Police Issue Dozens Of Tickets During Traffic Safety Detail
The holiday traffic details ran December 12 through January 5.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The results are in from a recent holiday traffic detail in Lake in the Hills.
The Lake in the Hills Police Department teamed up with the Illinois Department of Transportation and law enforcement agencies statewide for the holiday campaign, which ran from December 12 through Jan. 5.
In total, Lake in the Hills police issued 39 tickets for seat belt violations as well as one ticket for speeding, seven for operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic communication device and one for expired registration. In addition, one person was arrested for driving while license suspended.
