Police Station Planned For Former Mall Site
Plans are moving forward for the former Spring Hill mall site.
WEST DUNDEE, IL — Plans for the first new building to come to the former Spring Hill Mall are in the works.
On Monday, village board trustees in West Dundee approved the hiring of Itasca-based William Architects to get started on plans for a new police station at the Spring Hill site — a former mall that opened in 1980 and closed in 2024, the Daily Herald is reporting.
The village is hopeful to break ground on the new police station in 2027.
