These girls have been waiting too long to find their forever homes. We can’t understand why they are being overlooked!

They are the best! Young adults that are past all the puppy training, chewing, etc. and are housebroken! Both girls prefer to be your one and only and will show you unconditional love.

They are also available for our Foster to Adopt program! Foster to Adopt families have the first option to adopt if you determine this is the pup right for you! You will foster for 2 weeks and then determine if you would like to adopt the dog. If you decide not to adopt, you will foster the dog until she finds her forever family. While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting to food, and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love!

Hi Everyone! My name is Addy and here is my story. I’m a good girl but recently found myself in need of a home. You see I came from a shelter in Tennessee almost 2 years ago.

I was adopted by a family with 2 young children in 2020 and I thought they were fantastic! We had so much fun together! There was one thing I didn’t care for…when the kids hugged me around my neck when I was sound asleep. The adults said they were afraid that even though they tell the kids not to do that, they don’t trust the kids to leave me alone while I sleep. My heart was broken!

Safe Haven took me in and discovered that I needed a dental cleaning and had a tooth that was painful and needed to be extracted Surgery wasn’t fun, but I feel SO much better and am ready to show off how great I am!

Safe Haven had me go to school at Bark Avenue and they loved me there! I’m so smart and showed off my skills! I would love to show you too!

I am also a snuggler - so be prepared to always stay warm with me around! I am completely housebroken so that is not an issue. I love to go on walks and car rides too! I LOVE LOVE LOVE to play tug of war and catch - so be prepared to play with me. While I love to play, I also love to sleep! I am a professional napper so get ready to have a cuddling (and snoring) partner.

Freckles

Hello, my name is Freckles, I’m a female, 2.5 year old Pit Bull. I weigh approximately 65lbs. I sleep through the night in a crate at night and use bells to go outside when I need to go to the bathroom.

I can be shy when I first meet you, and sometimes a minute to warm up to new people, but once they give me loving pets, I love to be around them. I would do best in a fenced in yard so I can bathe in the sun and run freely.

I’m affectionate, playful, energetic, and sometimes I don’t know how strong I am, but I’m trying! I love rope toys and frozen stuffed kongs, and I sleep perfect in my crate. I LOVE full body pets, especially BELLY RUBS!

I’m good on a leash and respond to command “come here”. I’m getting better at “come here” and then sitting. When I’m on a leash I stop walking when you do, and I don’t pull. I take treats very gently too! I do get bored easily and can be mischievous and “might have” chewed on my bed, blankets, and soft toys. Just make sure I get enough exercise and chew toys and I’ll be good.

I do well meeting strangers even at home. I’m cautious of other dogs and will bark/growl initially but not because I’m mean, it’s because I’m afraid, I’m a WONDERFUL dog who needs lots of attention from my owners. I’m looking for someone who can spend a lot of time playing and cuddling with me. If that’s you, please send in an application, I would love to meet you!
